Dr. Wilson was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. His father, James, was a physician and University of Pittsburgh professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh. His mother, Helen, was an elementary school music teacher and professional marimba player.

Dr. Wilson was an undergraduate at Muskingum College and the University of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He did his internship and residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center under the direction of world-renowned gynecological oncologist and former ACOG president James L. Breen, MD and graduated as a chief resident from the program in 1984.

Dr. Wilson is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and re-certifies with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology every year. Dr. Wilson believes in the value of an evidence-based practice of gynecology.

 

Dr. Wilson practices solo gynecology and has 35 years of experience in southern New Jersey. He is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has authored several publications in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
